Customized Course Example One
BAY Technical developed and presented a two-week course covering the major codes and standards relating to the petrochemical industry, to a major refinery on the Gulf coast. The codes included the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), American Petroleum Institute (API), and National Board Inspection Code (NBIC). The course was originally directed towards inspectors; however, it was so successful that it was expanded to include engineering, procurement, reliability, maintenance, and supervisory personnel in subsequent years.
Customized Course Example Two
Following a complete reorganization of the National Board Inspection Code, a major oil company, located in the oil sands of northern Alberta Canada, requested a two-day seminar explaining the layout, application, and significant changes to the code. The seminar was conducted twice and involved a total of fifty-two participants representing inspection, quality control, engineering, and reliability personnel.
Customized Course Example Three
After assisting a large Arizona copper mining company to obtain the National Board Owner/User Inspection Accreditation and National Board Repair Accreditation, BAY Technical was contracted to develop a seminar to instruct all pertinent personnel in the scope of the two programs. The seminar included an overview of the edition of the National Board Inspection Code, adopted by the state of Arizona, as well as the boiler rules of the state.
