API, ASME & NBIC Code Overview Seminars

BAY Technical provides Best-in-Class Training - and the unparalleled pass rates to prove it.* We teach our students more than just how to pass the API exam. We teach them how to use the API and ASME Codes to do their jobs better. Our API 510, API 570, API 653, API 580 and National Board training courses are taught by inspectors from an inspector's point of view. Our one-of-a-kind training method is a distinguishing hallmark of BAY Technical Associates. Building on the legacy established by Bob Yagle, BAY Technical API instructors have been developing and presenting API Inspector Certification Examination training seminars and courses throughout the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean since 1979. The insight our trainers bring to every course is the reason BAY Technical consistently produces one of the highest API exam success rates in the industry.

Another key element in the success of our courses is the small class size. Our average API training course has ten or fewer students, and we cap the number of participants at 15. This allows for more direct interaction between student and instructor, which leads to better test results.

Examination Preparation Courses: Pass Rates*:
API 510 Pressure Vessel Inspector 90%
API 570 Process Piping Inspector 95%
API 653 Aboveground Storage Tank Inspector 85%
National Board of Boiler Pressure Vessel Inspectors 98%
API 580 Risk-Based Inspection New!

All BAY Technical training seminars are available as customized, on-site delivery for individual clients. For some examples, please see our Course Descriptions.

The course was originally directed towards inspectors; however, it was so successful that it was expanded to include engineering, procurement, reliability, maintenance, and supervisory personnel in subsequent years.
